To risk

To laugh is to risk appearing the fool.

To weep is to risk appearing sentimental.

a story of her

I knew this girl long time ago. She was timid, old fashioned and sometimes she looks older than she was supposed to be. There was nothing special about her. She is not beautiful, neither she is attractive. Out of ten students, she will be the least memorable among teachers and friends. She has no personality and fall in a boring category.


However, she inspired me a lot, especially in studies and religion. She studied very hard, as if she got to sit for exam the very next day. She would update her notes everyday and willing to stay up every night. From my view, she was not an intelligent student as she needs to read notes several times plus would forget things easily. But she made a lot of efforts to excel. She realised her weakness and struggled twice as hard as other students. And in the end, she made it!


One day, she disappeared.

Nobody ever noticed her disappearance since nobody ever think of her, except for me. I was so sad and can't stop thinking about her. I want her to inspire me again. I want her for myself…

I will never stop looking for her because I know that she is somewhere which I could actually reach. I really hope that we shall meet one fine day. InsyaAllah..

I will wait for that moment

...who can't easily get mad at people,
sometimes we can pretend that we are not angry at someone, but deep inside, we are not happy at all. Even worse, we curse from inside...


...who will always calm and smile no matter what happen,
a genuine smile is not hard to make as long as we are good in acting. However, a fake smile will not bring happiness since it is not a 'sedekah' anymore...



...who don't judge people soon after they met,
we tend to judge people too soon, especially if we feel like they are underestimating us. Later, we tend to object every single things that they say eventhough they are obviously true...



and today, I found that it is very very hard to be a good person....
very hard...

Yesterday.....

Yesterday I watched a movie titled 'Pursuit of Happiness', where I saw a very determine person who didn't stop trying. He is now a millionaire who has a history of sleeping in the public toilet due to having no place that can be call as home. He didn't give up and kept on giving the best in everything he did. and look at him now...

Yesterday I read my friend's note on her 'merdeka' moment', where I learn a new principle in life. I realize that I am not merdeka yet! There's a cover wrapping around me that always makes me breathless. It forces me to hide. It prevents me from talking. It is something that I thought had naturally been put on me since I was born.

Yesterday, someone told me that instead of being honest to everybody (answer their questions etc), I can just ask them not to talk about things that I don't wish to reveal. I must learn to say No, rather than avoiding people and keep silent since misunderstanding can happen and people can lost trust in me...

That's so true. Whenever you ask for opinions and later get thousands of them, you'll be in dilemmas, especially when it involves decision making. In the end, you are the one who need to decide without the influence of anybody. When you know what you really want, just go for it and aim for the best you can have.

'if it's worth having it's worth fighting for'

Being a risk taker? First thing first, you need to think of the outcomes critically. People will call you idiot, greedy, stubborn etc if you didn't get what you want but if you manage, self confidence and satisfaction are far valuable than public appraisal. Is it worth to take risks in life, when you have an equal possibility to win or to lose? What I mean is that you didn't gamble on something that depends on luck, but something that rely on efforts and God will. Life is a gamble anyway. You will never know unless you try. Prove to everybody that your dream is not just a Mat Jenin's dream, because you want, you know how to, and you work to make it true!

People might get you wrong, since you are too positive. Remember, always accept their views and think about that. Everyone has their own opinions and there must be reasons for them to say so. Never think that they're wrong and you're right because they are actually pondering as hard or more than you do.

'Can't be afraid of the dark'

There's up and down. When you step backward, it doesn't mean that you're weak. You've been left behind, but you'll gain momentum to accelerate in the future. Don't let anything to put you down. Always remember that mistakes can teach you to be perfect. Don't allow them to haunt, but to guide your next chapter of life..

There are shoulders for you to cry. Allow people to help you. People can't help if you don't want them to. No matter what happen, you have me, you have everybody. And of course, you have HIM to lead your each and every steps in life..

This is a half filled glass of water. Some might call it as a half empty glass of water

What's the different?

half filled glass of water - you are admitting that there's some water inside, even though it's not full, but you still see the water

half empty glass of water - you are seeing the emptiness of the glass without even realizing the fact that there's some water inside..

in real life, you shouldn't always look at things that you don't have. Try to love and appreciate yourself. even though you can't be the best in certain things, there's still potential in you. You are unique. You are somebody. There is no doubt that there are lots of people that you consider as lucky, but there's also people who consider you as lucky...

If you hate yourself,

accept the fact that there are more than 10 people that love you...

at least 10 people....

I will never regret..

You can plan everything,

and you can also dream of anything.

No matter how good you are as a planner,

No matter plan B, or C or D you have,

there must be a plan that is the best for you,

it might not be included in your original plan,

but someone else has planned it for you.

someone who is smarter than you...

someone who loves you very much.




Do not regret!

Do not give up,

because everytime you make a mistake,

a mistake can either bring you forward or held you back,

which might be harder and longer for you to take,

but will make you as good a person that you can be.




Because Allah has a bigger plan for you.

Ingredients

batter:
plain flour
egg
salt
water
coconut milk
pandan colouring

Filling:
grated coconut
brown sugar
salt
pandan leaves

-mix plain flour, egg, salt, water, coconut milk, and pandan colouring in a bowl to form a smooth batter ( I used blender)
-heat the pan and put little oil
-make a thin pancake (step 1)
-remove when the edge curl up and when the bottom is golden brown
-put some fillings and roll (step 2 & 3)
